Tentang Jurnal Ini

Jurnal Keluarga Berencana (Journal of Family Planning) is the official scholarly publication managed by the Ministry of Population and Family Development/BKKBN of Indonesia. As an evidence-based Knowledge dissemination platform, this journal specifically examines strategic issues related to population studies and family development, both in Indonesia and internationally. First published in 2007 under the title Journal of Family Planning in print format, it underwent digital transformation in April 2016 by adopting the Open Journal System (OJS) while expanding its scholarly scope under its current name.

As a scientific journal, the Jurnal Keluarga Berencana Development aims to serve as an academic reference in supporting policy formulation and program development for the Ministry of Population and Family Development/BKKBN. The journal adheres to an open-access policy and a rigorous peer-review system to ensure academic quality and accountability. Taking a multidisciplinary approach, it integrates various academic perspectives, including demography, public health, family economics, and applied social sciences. The published content is highly diverse, encompassing empirical research articles, systematic reviews, policy analyses (briefs/papers), and thematic literature studies.

Beyond serving as a scholarly publication platform, this journal functions as a dialogue forum connecting academics, practitioners, and policymakers.
